Honeymooners Dodge Custom Interior

This custom antique was tricked out with two-tone deep red & silver paint featuring the faces of the "Honeymooners," Ralph & Alice on the driver's door and Trixie & Norton on the passenger door.

But the interior looked like it had been decaying for decades. The panel boards & floor boards were warped and rotted. As far as the upholstery, the honeymoon was long over.

This was the transformation that this interior needed. The floor, panel boards and seat structure were rebuilt. The seats and panels were reupholstered in silver cloth with red cloth inserts & piping to match the exterior. The floor carpet was remade in red with a custom floor mat featuring the embroidered saying, "And away we go".

The steering wheel and headliner area also needed to renew their vows.

The headliner and trim panels were finished with the matching silver cloth highlighted with red windlace. The wood steering wheel was sanded down, restained and revarnished.

The exterior long grain vinyl roof was redone including the chicken wire and padding substructure. We even integrated a modern, hidden stereo system.
