This unusual project came from an elderly woman who was
driven around the grounds of her estate in this golf cart. Our mission
was to recreate the seating in a "captain's chair" type manner
to make her feel more safe and comfortable.

First we built wooden frames to the desired specifications.
Then we molded the foam to the shape of the wood and the customer's body
type. Next we upholstered the seats in an outdoor, marine grade vinyl.
Finally, we attached the new structures to the golf cart with adjustable
hardware.

The rear required custom built safety seating for two.

In addition to creating the dual, matching captain's
chairs, we installed seat belts and an added step to help climb up
to the increased height.
Now, that's not a golf cart, its a Golf Cruiser! |
