Car Club - Tech Sessions

If you are a car club member, you may contact us to schedule a Tech Session for your club at AutoMat Co.

We have been running these events for years and attendees find them very interesting and informative.We set the meet up several months in advance. We try to arrange to have a few members’ cars being worked on in the shop at the time of the event.

The club meets at about 10:00AM on a Saturday morning when we provide coffee and doughnuts. We give a speech about AutoMat Co. and then a tour through the facility. We display work in progess, before and after work, explain the various work stations, demonstrate restoration techniques, explain the varied work being done on the cars in the shop, and field any questions. After the tour, we barbeque hot dogs and provide drink.

We then take a look at members’ cars, give estimates and answer any further questions. The total event generally lasts about 2 hours and is enjoyed by all.
